My daughter started nearly 3 years ago at The Shamrock Academy of Irish Dance. I can honestly say she has loved every minute of it. From starting knowing nothing to now proudly becoming 2nd in the World at age 10!! Her teacher Alex is outstanding. We have become a part of an Irish dance family and would highly recommend this type of dance to others to join. There is a variety of dances, events, feis', grades and overall fun days out showing what we can do.

Our children have attended The Shamrock Academy of Irish Dance for two years. As parents we are so grateful for the commitment shown to both our children which has allowed both of them to achieve their potential. Our son has Down Syndrome and he has been fully included in every aspect of the dance school including feises and parties but the skills he has learnt with Alexandra, such as concentration and co-ordination, have transferred into his day to day life enabling him to be successful in other sports and keep up with his typical peers at school.
Our daughter started as a total beginner at age 7 and has progressed rapidly and is competing now at world competitions and has found her passion in life!!! She Irish dances everywhere… even in Asda! She has made friends for life whilst learning life skills such as dedication ,resilience and team work. Being part of the Shamrocks is being part of a family!!

My now 8 year old started Irish dancing when she was 6 and her confidence has come on so much since being with the shamrock Irish dancers! She loved it that much and was always dancing at home that my 3 year old wanted to join in the fun too so she now attends little jiggers! They both love attending classes and as well as dancing they have learnt lots of new skills and made new friendships and both also enjoy competing in online competitions and across the country! Highly recommend the shamrock academy of Irish dance!

Although our daughter has only recently begun dancing with Shamrock we cannot get over the improvement in her self-confidence. Alex's support and tuition, and that from peers during classes, has allowed Freya to bloom and where she was afraid of any performance with spectators at gymnastics or tap dancing, she is now keen to participate in all opportunities. Thank you Alex and everyone at Shamrock for making her feel so welcome and included. We can't wait to see how her journey with you progresses!
